Advocating the Rights of Prisoners! Watch the Inspiring Video by Human Rights Activist Victor Fakunle

Victor Fakunle is a man with a heart of gold. He was a regular kid who grew up in Lagos. However, in the course of youthful rebellion he ended up in prison. Now, that’s not the most interesting part of Victor’s story. It’s what came after.
Victor got out of prison with a new ideology – changing the norm. He registered an organization called the ‘Human Rights Foundation‘. He explained that the organization is “… a registered charity organisation that advocates for the rights of prisoners, ex-offenders and other disadvantaged people affected by the criminal justice system regardless of class, religion or societal status. HRF has been providing legal representation and training inmates since its inception in 2002. We strive to make a difference
within a system devoid of the “Rule of Law”and a lack of value on human life.“
Earlier on this year, the organization launched the ‘Take It Back’ project – a venture which sought to humanize prison inmates.
