Comedian Ime Bishop Weds Today
The star actor who is fondly called ‘Okon Lagos’ or ‘Cafenol’, draws top Nigerian celebrities to Uyo city to mark the day with him as the likes of Kate Henshaw, Emem Isong, Nse Ikpe Etim, Shan George, Desmond Elliot and other Nollywood stars, storm the town to celebrate with one of their own. The white wedding will come at a later date.

Aluu 4 update: Four suspects granted bail this morning
Presiding Judge, Justice Letan Nyordee granted them bail on grounds that their offense is not a capital offense and is bailable. They were granted bail to the tune of N2 million with two sureties and the court asked the sureties to submit their passports. The sureties mus also have landed property in Port Harcourt and must show means of livelihood and evidence of paying tax for two years. The other eight suspects were refused bail due to the murder charges against them.
The court also admitted the photographs negatives and the Youtube CD of the incident tendered as exhibits in the matter.
Dear Nigerian police, please also arrest and prosecute the men who murdered 2 innocent young men in Badagry in July. Thank you! The sooner we criminalize jungle justice, the better for us all!

after many fun attempts by various people including footballer Emmanuel Adebayor and Nigerian comedian AY, a winner was announced. Davido shared an image of the winner of the Skelewu dance competition , Kiddy via instagram last week.
On the 15th of October, an official Skelewu video was released which we later learnt from Davido via tiwtter and an official press release that the released video which was shot by Sesan was infact an online leak which he, Davido never signed off.On the 16th of October, just less than 24hrs after the leak of the unapproved video, Davido has shot a totally new video under the directorship of Moe Musa in London under the production of Pheonix Global Media.
What we are now expected to see is an epic adventure that has never been seen before. Abi Wilson-Obruche of Pheonix Global Media said, “It was a pleasure working with Davido. Given the short period of time we had to put the video together, it was interesting working on an adventurous concept and HKN proved to be a excellent partner in delivering the video”.
Moe Musa and his team has pulled out all the stops to create a “28 Days Later” concept for the video to prove to the world that “Skelewu” has officially taken over.
The video is said to première worldwide on Monday.

APC Scolds Dame Patience For Receiving Honorary Degree At S'Korean University
The All Progressives' Congress (APC) have condemned First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan for receiving an Honorary Doctorate degree from a South Korean University at a time when Nigerian education institutions have not been functioning for several months.

The APC said the action is "the height of insensitivity".In his statement, the party's Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said embarking on such a "jamboree" at this time was an assault on the sensibilities of Nigerians in general, and the "students who have been marooned at home for almost four months in particular."

United Kingdom Set To Send 267 Nigerian Prisoners Back Home
The UK is set to send non-British
prisoners back to their respective countries, with more than 200
prisoners set to be sent back to Nigeria.
Punch reports that talks are continuing into reaching a compulsory prisoner transfer agreement, which could see more than half of the 534 criminals from Nigeria currently in UK jails repatriated.
UK Prisons Minister, Jeremy Wright, told MailOnline how ‘more foreign prisoners must serve their sentences in their own countries.’
Ministers have been ordered to step up efforts to end the scandal of more than one in eight prisoners being from overseas.
